You can probably squeeze all the following in during the day/early evenings, which will allow you time to relax or party at night. Canal boat tour, bike tour, walking tours through Sandeman's: do the free tour and also the paid tour for Red Light District, Heineken experience, Anne Frank house, Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum. In probably missing other things, but this should be a good start.

Def check out the Rijks Museum is you’re into art!

Rent a bicycle from Mac Bikes outside of Vondelpark and explore the city that way. There was a really nice man with dreads working there and his customer service was awesome!

Also have a stroopwaffle and eat at Moeders!

Check out the airport. It’s amazing in Amsterdam

Looking for a Caribbean vacation recommendation for my husband and me. Want to go for around a week in early summer. We are active, not partiers, like boutique or small hotels or b&bs. Like being able to walk places. Like a more local experience versus touristy/resort-type places. I’d love somewhere that I can lay on a beach with a pina colada and also go hiking/explore nature or explore a local town so that we don’t get bored with so many days. Thank you!

What are some brands or specific bags to consider? I'd prefer light, soft cases. Bonus points if the bag doesn't look too expensive. I'm small, female, and often travel alone. Don't want to be a target when I'm on the road.

I’m hopefully traveling to Greece next month and flying out of Newark. The only one on Lounge Buddy’s site is the Lufthansa lounge, looks ok in the photos but has anyone been there lately that can share an opinion? It’s only $39 so not expecting the world, just a quiet spot with power, restroom and less crowds…

Welcome to all my fellow travelers. Travel is a great way to open your eyes to the world we live in. To experience new cultures & customs & embrace diversity in our world which makes being human so special. Due to Covid travel has been definitely not a priority for most people. As travel changes in our society due to borders opening and technology let's discuss and share on the experience so we can adjust to our new world and prepare for a safer experience which could be inspiring-

During work from office days, a representative from third party vendor organization used to visit the Gurgaon office during the Investment Proof Declaration days to help folks with "rent agreements, PAN number and rent slips" (ahem!! ahem!! IYKYK) and we were able to claim tax deductions.

Should you stay in a position that has very limited promotion opportunities because of its org structure? How do you feel about getting homework for jobs?

We're altering our interview process to eliminate a homework assignment we give to candidates. It's about 2 hours of varying difficulty questions.

The VP wants to replace it with a 1 hour pair programming exercise because he thinks experienced candidates won't bother with homework. A lot of my experienced colleagues would be fine with the homework as long as it was within reason.

What's the consensus? Homework or nah?
