Yeah, plus each baby is different. One of mine moved all day long, the other only seemed to move at night while I was resting. A change in pattern is probably more concerning than how often you feel them. You can also Google how to do a kick count, but I think it's typically done a little further along in pregnancy.
It also depends on your placenta’a position - if it’s anterior you’re much less like to feel movement.
He’s right! Your baby is fine. Congrats mama
I was totally like that with my first, and fresh orange juice was my secret. Any time I had a glass of orange juice, the baby would start kicking like crazy
I totally understand the anxiety. I had an anterior placenta and for a lot of women it is fine but for me I didn’t feel my baby move that much. I went to OB triage probably 4-5 times to check on the baby. Every single time, the nurses and doctors said I did the right thing by checking. I don’t regret it.
Same here - I went 2-3 times (called nurse line first, where they assured me I wasn’t being crazy and it’s better to come in, even if nothing but mental health/peace of mind).
Kick counts don’t start until 28 week. Twice a day try to get 10 kicks in two hours. If you can’t feel baby eat sugar and lie on your left side and focus! I usually can’t feel my baby unless I really focus (I’m 35 weeks with baby 2)
If you are very anxious you can also get a baby dopplar for home use: https://www.babydoppler.com/sonoline-b-fetal-doppler.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIiLestMPu6QIVhsDACh26awx-EAQYASABEgKskfD_BwE

24 weeks here. I actually feel the most kick when I lay on my back (I know I shouldn’t) and at night. During day time, maybe I move around a lot and don’t really feel much. But when I am quiet down, laying in bed, that’s when I feel the most kick

23 weeks here and I don’t feel the baby move/kick yet
Baby sleeps a ton at this stage also! I wanted a Doppler and multiple people told me not to, it’s easy to miss the heartbeat and freak yourself out to the point of going to the doctor. One friend loved it though. First pregnant my placenta was positioned in a way where the movements were muted until later in the pregnancy. Its nerve wracking regardless, hang in there!
