You’ll see a lot of opinions on this. You can search for limerick too, to see past conversations.
I had limerick through EY for 2 babies. I liked it a lot and never felt the need to get a different one.
Most my friends did not like it and ended up buying spectras etc.
No experience with that one, but I liked the way the Spectra worked (the blue one that's on battery). It was a bit bulky to carry around when I returned to client sites tho, so for a second kid I might look for something smaller. You should be able to get a pump through insurance as well
I got a Limerick PJs comfort from working at KPMG (a pump that is valued at $650). While it worked on me, my output was much less than other pumps, which is wild because of the price tag on the pump. Limerick uses a one size fits all approach with their flanges. My husband got a Medela Sonata from working at Deloitte and it’s my favorite pump. I also was able to get another pump with my insurance and I opted for a cord free pump. I highly recommend using your insurance or husbands insurance to get another pump incase Limerick does not work for you
I got one from EY but haven’t actually used it because I’m still on maternity leave and I rarely pump. I was also given a Medela which I’ve used a few times. Definitely get the one from EY because it’s totally free of charge and you can see if it works for you.
I personally ended up buying a spectra because I had low output with the limerick
It worked fine for me. Definitely get it - it’s free. And then see how things go before you invest in something else. You may end up not pumping at all if BF goes well. Or you may end up pumping exclusively if BF does not go well. You may end up needing a pump that’s convenient for traveling, or one that’s good for using at work, etc. FYI all the extra accessories for the pump are free and are shipped super fast, so don’t stress about exactly what extra stuff to order upfront because you can always order more later (the extra bottles and ice packs and such are nice).
