I thought they basically gave the same offers to all undergrad recruits?
Something sounds fishy here
I also wouldn’t just quit because you’re underpaid- you can easily catch up and surpass those. I went from underpaid analyst to youngest manager in the practice in 5 years.
I was an underpaid analyst my first year. Worked my ass off, and was ranked #1 on the client ladder (back when we had ladders). Next year I was the highest paid analyst.
They do... so what's the issue, OP? 🤔
OP, unless you were an experience hire, you cannot be severely underpaid, all analyst make approx the same, and plot twist, you’ll probably make the same at Deloitte
I agree with DD1... something's not right about this story.
You're bad at negotiating? What's your experience
It's never too late my friend, the sooner the better
OP is probably in CDO
Is CDO like our delivery centers?
Nope not in a delivery center from nyc have a colleague in a diff city making 10k more than me and we are in the same level, same track and same dte..so yeah
Were you an experienced hire and just negotiated a shitty salary? If you're hired from undergrad to CDO, you would be an associate your first year right?
Okay, what DTE? And what verification do you have that this person makes 10k more? One person telling you a figure doesn't constitute a career change. Need more info to help you.
I saw the pay check, tech, and had a terrible onboarding exp
Yep - doesn't scan right. You need a new CC my friend, to both give coaching and fight your fight.
I saw two pay checks of my colleagues same level, career track and DTE. One was here for a longer time and the other fresh out of college both making way more than me. Nothing fishy about my story but something is fishy about my offer. Anyway I’m just going to work hard as I’ve been doing. I’ll step my game up even more now. I’m not sure why or how this happened but I’ll prove myself if not I’ll consider my options once I get some credentials under my belt
So it's not the same offer to all analysts?
No much lower
So are you experienced hire or college recruit
