There's no shame in staying a paralegal for three years. You can ask, especially if your program is typically a 2 year and out program! I know a third year sounds like a long time in your early 20s, but being more certain of your path (whether you move to school or elect to pursue something else) is worth it. Tee yourself up to be able to apply (takes the LSAT, etc) and then you will have options. GL!

Any tips on working out before work and healthy eating/weight loss. I switched from OTF after work and got a peloton but have found I am not nearly as motivated. I thought I could work out on my lunch since I am WFH but it’s just not happening and then I’m tired after work plus CPA. My nutrition has also gone out the window so I really need any tips I can get as I just am not feeling good.

Was a bitch? Has anyone else also not worked out since WFH was mandated… so like for over a year? I’ve been constantly low energy for months and want to slowly get back in the habit since I think it will help. Problem is I don’t feel too comfortable going to a public gym just yet. Any suggestions?

Confession - I don't want to go back to office. I'm happy working from home and find no solid reason in stepping back. I hope the flexi work culture allows permanent WFH - I don't have a "good enough" reason, but I don't want to go (isn't this good enough?) It's been 1.5 years now, too comfortable to step out from my PJs to jeans.

Moving to NYC next year, and my SO is based in Seattle. He is very keen to spend more time with me in NYC, even suggesting living there while remote working is still a thing. I’m a little hesitant bc we’ve only been dating for 2-3 months and it would feel like moving in tgt. Also not sure if i should be looking for a studio or 1br for more space but at a much higher price tag that i have to pay for. Any thoughts?

Data strategy question: My Fintech organization has 2 banking products, both of which have similar features, but one caters to smaller banks and credit unions while the other focuses on the top 100 banks in the US. The product and engineering teams for both these products operate independently and rarely use any common technology vendors (except AWS, our common infra partner). Does it make sense to have a common data strategy and a single data lake across this products? What are the benefits?
