For those that get 5-6 hours of sleep every day, how do you manage? I have a partner that sleeps at 11 or midnight and wakes up at 5am to be in the office at 6am.

Genuine question: Is it unreasonable to want to work mostly normal hours (9-6) while in accounting? I recently switched to industry and am still working long hours. My boss and boss’s boss work basically 9am - midnight with a few hours “off” in the evening. Which I definitely wasn’t expecting.

The interview process took a lot longer than it should have and I didn’t want to leave the team this late but also don’t want to turn down a good opportunity to stay for a busy season.
