yeah my pain
I have a dear friend who was recent laid off from a tech company. I’m currently in my first in-house counsel position and was able to secure the job off of cold applying and don’t really have much advice to give. I really want to help support. I know about goinhouse.com and I know people say recruiters (I never found them helpful so wondering how). How did you find your gig? Sites? Been laid off and how to bounce back? Thanks!

Amazon sells yeast. A pound for $8. I think it’s the equivalent of 64 packets. Froze half of it.
How was the yeast quality wise? I’m thinking of buying a bigger stash. I finally got my hands on some few weeks ago after months of stores sold out of it, but I’ve read amazon reviews about quality issues of the yeast.
Soya sauce chicken with ginger scallion oil! Super easy, tasty, and comforting!
Kale for snacking/salads.
Wash kale. Drain. Rip or chop leaves. Throw in large bowl. Add a drizzle of olive oil, a bit of sesame oil, and a healthy squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Get in there with your hands to massage oil with the kale (it won’t taste the same if you “toss” it with a fork or in the bowl). Let it sit overnight and enjoy! It also keeps for days in the fridge.
Dope!
I do a lot of pastas with different sauces/seasoning and chicken. Very basic less than 15 min and easy to meal prep for a quick microwave whenever.
Stir fry! Anything available (protein and veg) goes in with lots of ginger garlic scallions and sesame (oil and seeds), some tamari, mirin and rice wine vinegar to taste towards the very end and voila! Eat on its own or rice/grain of your choice. Easy peasy and super yummy.
Oh and sambal (chili paste), I am all about bringing the heat!!
Chilli garlic noodles with or without Shrimp. Basically if you want to do some refrigerator cleaning with leftover veggies, but need a delicious meal. Oil, garlic, chilli flakes, dark soy sauce, honey and hoisin sauce, sesame seeds!
