How do I ask for pay parity with peers? External hires of course make a higher base, but some reps that have been moved up are making a higher base due to starting higher when hired as SDRs. I am a top 10% rep in the org, so do I approach it based on performance or parity? Also I know better than to name drop, but is it acceptable to admit that I know what my peers make when making the ask?
No matter how much good feedback I get and how well received my work is by clients, I constantly assume I’m about to be called in to the CEO’s office and fired.
Why is that?
I am so happy this bowl has been started. Finally finding some relevant conversations 😀
Curious - how old was your child when they dropped the afternoon nap? My 2.5 yo is fighting it daily now! How did you transition to quiet time?
*ADVICE NEEDED* I wasn’t paid my full pay last pay period (2 weeks ago) & have been told when I might see it but haven’t gotten so much as an email & it’s not breaking the bank but I’m frustrated by the lack of communication around it & the fact that I’ve had to chase it down. I’ve cc’d my boss yesterday & followed up this morning but don’t want to be a pain. Do you think it’s ok for me to now be persistent? We get paid tomorrow btw. TYIA.
How many days it usually takes for Full and final settlement in Capgemini? It's been 11 days after lwd but didn't receive any communication yet even after dropping mail to f&f team. Could someone help here pls.?
Does anyone else run with their dog? This is Lucy, and after I adopted her I quickly figured out she has a lot of pent up energy. She runs 3-5 miles with me most days and it works like a charm.
Our annual reviews are approaching & one of my direct reports has been with us for almost six years w/ little growth. My reco was to let him go & find a stronger, hungrier & more motivated designer at the same level. However, my boss instead wants us to promote him in hopes that will spark some motivation. I am not behind this decision & have voiced my multitude of concerns in promoting an employee who doesn't deserve it. HR is behind the decision! Thoughts on promoting an undeserving report?

I RSVP'd for a wedding a couple weeks ago and it's in a little less than a month. Would rescinding my attendance confirmation overly inconvenience the bride and groom? Any chance the costs per guest are finalized at this stage? I'm feeling overwhelmed and I don't think I can make it.
I’m embarrassed to post this but I have a 5mo old (my first) and he’s spending a month in my wife’s country of origin. I feel bad that I need to *actively* remind myself to think about him. Contd..

Can any legal recruiters give advice to a new recruiter? How long did it take to make first placement? A lot of people I talk to are super friendly even if they aren’t interested. I also find a fair number of attorneys who are much less friendly. I’ve got a pretty tough skin but still find it hard when someone is super rude or antagonistic.
