Osaka is like the "Chicago" of Japan in my opinion. Great bar scene and the food is more accessible to Americans. Osaka is known for its okonomiyaki - this greasy delicious pancake of eggs and meats - so definitely try it.

I've been to Kobe. The must see there is the harbor. There weren't that many beautiful or unusual places to see there. It is just a nice port city. If you have time, I would take the train to Kyoto (which is pretty close). Fushimi Inari and Arashiyama are both incredible. You won't be disappointed.

Was late getting to the gate so I had to check my brand stinking new bag. Seriously considered changing to a later flight right then and there and just posting up at the bar. 😩 #SundayFunDay

In an alternate universe, we’d all be at the airport lounge drinking our weekly stress away while eagerly waiting to go home. Life is good. Unless you’re flying United - you’re minutes away from being told your flight is delayed because there is one cloud in the sky.

I recently transitioned from Finance to Internal Audit. While I think this job is perfect for what I want during this stage of my career I feel like theres a stigma. Like this holiday during family zoom calls I'll tell relatives I stwrted a new job during WFH and when I mention it is Internal Audit I get mildly disgusted looks or "oh boy, I hate auditors" responses. Since the holiday season is almost over can you share how you respond to that? Or do you tell people you work "in compliance"?
