Work for a firm who fudged the special bonus (not special as expected to hit hours in order to get it - was about 50 hours off). Billed 1850 cf 2000 requirement for year end bonus and looks like anyone not hitting won't get year end bonus. I'm not expecting a full bonus (and do not want to come across as entitled) but feel like deserve something for the work put in over the year, gaining recognition in legal publications across my speciality and being seconded to client. What would you do?

I worked as a technical PM for a medium-sized adtech company in NYC in charge of 2 technical teams, and the business intelligence team.

On Thursday I was informed by the lead PO and HR that leadership had decided that the project management office was no longer necessary for the company and all three of us, the director and the two technical PMs, were being let go. None of us were given any notice.

They offered me 2 weeks of severance pay and I negotiated it to 3.

Any creatives here have gone to the client side? What’s your role? Big or small company? Do you regret it? Any tips for others wanting to do this move?

Guy I went out with briefly a year ago, prior to joining my firm, I just found out, is a big boss at an important client. He recently reached out to catch up. I think he’s a decent person and would be a great friend/connect, but am not interested in him romantically and am seeing someone else right now.

Hello -travelling to client site for the first time, few questions as a manager: 1. What’s my max per diem for meals? 2. I am travelling on Sunday - hoping I can charge meals on Sunday as well? 3. I decided to stay the weekend as I had to travel back again on Monday - can I charge the hotel during weekend? Since I will be avoiding the full flight cost which is huge?
