I asked TCS for a salary renegotiation, they agreed and they sent the new salary breakup, But they are not sending the revised offer letter, Whenever I ask them they are saying it's in the clearance process you'll receive shortly.
But my date of joining is on Monday, HR is telling me to join & they'll send the updated offer letter within 7 days of my joining, can we trust these words, Has anyone faced a similar situation?Tata Consultancy
Any in-house counsel in here willing to post their company, level or YOE, and total comp breakdown? If you’re comfortable, please consider posting both your current stats and what your stats were when you first moved in-house. If there’s any other information that you want to share, please include that too (e.g., hours, interesting perks, etc.). Info on in-house salaries is pretty hard to come by, and it would be great to compile some data points here! Facebook Amazon Google Netflix Apple
I have recently got selected in tcs and I have 10.5 years of experience with 25 LPA. Now for salary negotiation hr is asking me to go with ur current pkg otherwise it will be dropped bcoz it's already very high pkg for them. What should I do if I have an offer of 29 LPA from other company? Tata Consultancy@

If I made 60k then absolutely.

If I made $200K then perhaps not
$40k->60k Yes
$180k->$200K Probably not
For context, I make 90K and the new offer is for 110K

Agreed with D1, since it’s right on the cusp of being worth it, it depends on the company, your level, if bonus eligible, expected progression the new place etc
Are you bonus eligible? If so with raise and bonus in 6 months it’s going to be not really worth it.

When are D Year end raises effective? Did you just get a raise or does it hit later? This would impact my decision
I did get a 12% raise and I am at 90K after the said raise kicked in.

Sure
160 base and i would consider many other things first such as WLB and WFH policy

Hm I did (10k increase in base, plus sign on), but it was also to pivot into consulting; I had also changed jobs 2x this year, so technically I went from 115k to 135k base in consulting and got a sign on bonus too.
That being said, I’d prob leave in 1-2 years for another firm assuming I’d get a 30k increase in base plus sign on
