If you’ve fully funded all of these accounts, you’re doing great! Make sure your HSA balance is invested and not sitting in cash. I would next check your holdings and allocations and make sure you are primarily using the US market index and a total international index as the majority of your investments. Keep a small portion for your fun/risky plays (like <10% overall). DM me for a Personal Capital referral, it helps tremendously with this step. It’s never too early to start the 529 and take those tax deductions either. Same as above would apply - make sure your allocations are right and you are using broad based, low fee index funds and not actively managed ones. I would take what’s left of that 25k and put into a standard brokerage and invest the lump sum in a combo of VTI and VXUS and sleep easy.

Which platform do you use to invest in VTI ansbVXUS? Thanks

Also, I’ve maxed out my HSA already to help reduce taxable income but have not started a college 529 plan yet…is it too early? Also have put a little in crypto several years back but nothing substantial to make an impact…

I have an issue: just been informed by compliance I have a violation. Using a brokerage restricted and at this point I am at a loss. I sold off all my stock just to comply. It also says there may be financial penalties. What should I do? I replied the email immediately asking for help. I am a new to Deloitte and the US

I had a parent of one of my students ask today if I tutor over the summer. It had never crossed my mind, but I know it would be insanely beneficial for him. Wife and I are going in with my BIL and SIL to pay for a retirement/40th anniversary/MIL's 60th birthday trip to an island for my parents in law when they retire next year. They think we forgot about all of those events and are going to lose it when we give the gift at Christmas. Father in law has had a lot of frustration, getting included in two mass layoffs in two years and taking two straight 40% pay cuts at the end of his career. We're so excited to give them something to look forward to.

What is your opinion on GARP financial Risk Manager (FRM) certificate? I am considering taking it (as I am FS Risk Consulting), but I am not sure if it really carries benefits. Apparently it is quite a tough study. Is it worth the time or should I invest my time elsewhere? Also do you have learning material you are willing to share :D?
