Mc1 possible, but I don’t believe it’s the truth. I don’t believe that years of work and publicly held positions of so many people are for posturing. Zoe lofgren wrote today she doesn’t like what she sees, perhaps she is right. But she also has a wide audience to cater to in the house. Let’s see what happens.

Link on the bill?

Well it needs to go back to the house then to senate and then to the president

EY 1, I never denied the process and I totally understand the path for it to become a law. I am spreading an overall optimistic view while you are sharing a pessimistic view. That is all. I shared that above post to explain you the difference between HR 1044 & S386 refuting your claim that they are significantly different and have never been introduced in Senate. I am really wondering thinking about what your background might be. Jeez.. people around you must be feeling so much positive energy all the time 🤣 and you call it stupidity. I am sensitive to the fact that people are suffering and dying becoz of COVID but that doesn’t mean I should close my eyes to the rest of the things that are happening in the world. Shame on you to bring that kind of an argument to support your view while you know nothing about me. COVID is totally out of context. I don’t have any words to even reply back to you. I feel ashamed to have to correct you again and again. It’s so meaningless. It’s ok to accept mistakes/ self correct and move on. You will be a better person when you learn that

What does this do. What were the caps?

Does anyone else reading this post as well feel EY 1 is a little crazy?

I feel, he is reasonable to a certain point and then bringing Covid from no where into the picture and calling out someone insensitive for sure comes from only crazy ppl.

Crossposting from Immigration Attorneys: I’ve been practicing for 4 years, but new to the immigration practice. I recently submitted an I-129 for 15 H-2B landscape workers. I knew the deadline to beat the cap count would be close, but I convinced the client that we could take the chance. Unfortunately, the cap count was reached after we submitted, so no approval. Is there any other avenue to bring over those workers or is he screwed?

So my husband recently became a share partner at a firm, which is a bit stressful for us because (i) it’s a big transition and a lot of stress for him and (ii) they are pressuring him to move to NYC (we are based in TX where most of my family live). Anyways, we are planning to have kids, and I’m worried that if we move and have a child that I will alone, also working in biglaw and raising the child alone without help. Anyways, I was wondering other women’s thoughts, experiences and advice.
