Hi All,
Persistent Systems is giving 10% variable on gross annual CTC. HR says you would receive minimum 70% of variable pay every month and remaining 30% will credited once a year at the end.
Does anyone has idea on this? Can I believe this and include 70% variable in my take home

Irrespective of what you earn in white collar jobs like IT, it's really difficult to buy expensive flats. If you have a salary of 30-40 lacs also, you end up paying emis for a long duration.
It's not us or covid which is impacting the property prices. The whole building and property things are the best source of turning black money to white money. People in govt jobs or MLA, MP and all those corrupt people are responsible for raising prices.
They pay whatever amount is demanded because by doing that they will convert black money to white and property are always booked at book value, they can always hide this from govt tax authorities.
Exactly, this is the reason.
Meanwhile builder lobby - hehehe ab mjja ayega na bhidu 😂😂
Yes they should allow remote work but they won't....at least for India....In Capgemini where ai work, they have diff HR policies for India and other countries ( for India ego 3 days per week is mandatory, other countries its not)..it's pure doglapan
Pov: Builders don't want it to happen.
Its all supply demand cause during covid flat rates had gone down cause the earning group went to their hometown. I believe govt wants us to come to these cities cause in that way cash flows in the economy. Companies wont increase salary like 2-3 times for sure so we have to manage somehow. If possible try to take remote jobs. Swiggy, Airbnb and there are many companies who have permanent wfh thing
I’m in the same situation but let’s be realistic, work with the situation in hand. We can hope what we want but we don’t have control over certain things. Save and reduce your loan amount or start with a property for which you don’t have to pay EMIs for 20+ years. You can bargain on time based on how much you put up front.
Chief
What. Companies should pay you triple because you wanna buy a house but not based on your skills ? Wait am sending email to my HR to increase salary as I want to buy Mercedez Benz S class.
There are people living in Bangalore for 10 or 20K salaries also. What's the problem with you? Based on salary you getting take a house for rent on how much you can afford. If you really wanna buy an expensive house , then better yourself and get a high paying job and then you can afford those houses.
And i don't think the OP wants that either. That is exactly why he is suggesting WFH from cheaper cities with affordable rent. Based on how you are attacking the problem, looks like you too are one of those dinosaur managers who think work can only be done from office.
Before COVID, the situation was same. Rents were high. Imagine a city like Mumbai. Can we apply the same logic? Triple our salaries? I still feel before COVID and after COVID Bangalore rentals are back to their peak
Where you were living before covid? Or are you covid batch passout??
Wow that looks like a great email when your office calls for WFO 😂
