Just heard back from D this morning and I made it to the final round of interviews, but I think OP here has killed it with his story! This made my morning 😊

I fly out of Austin every week. Feels like hailing a cab - most days I depart my home and am through security in under 40 min. TSA precheck has never been over 5 min. If you can get there ... the airport is the easy part.

C1 - I’m stuck in an Uber at it’s mercy. I can’t get behind it and push....4 minutes....

P4 - The only dicks that seem to be in this thread are those from PwC.

I got to pre-check 25 minutes after boarding started. I would have missed it if I didn’t ask to cut. Now I’m home with my family. It’s called priorities. When your firm focuses on making sure Warren Beatty gets the correct envelope instead of making sure everyone’s attire meets current fashion trends, we can talk.

Pretty sure @P1 meant cuffed pants not pleats. I see no pleats in the pic.... 🤷🏼‍♀️

Cuffed pants usually implies the pleats. Also tan shoes with back pants and blue socks is all over the place.

Home Address faaaaar away from Home Office

I'm contemplating going through my company's process of changing my primary residence to a middle-america state with lower COL. The office that I'd remain reporting to is in a HCOL area. The interesting thing is that the new area is tiered at same level as my current area.

Have any fish had experience doing this? Was it worth the occasional flight back to your home office? Any noticeable difference in your taxes at the end of the year?

I even asked for onsite and they told after completing 1 year, I shall be eligible for the same, is this correct?

Debate:
If you’re interviewing for a new position outside the firm and the interviewer is unavailable after your billable hours (staff augmentation project). Typically for appointments (dentist, doctor), we make up the time outside of working hours. Would you A) block off the time on your calendar as an appointment and make up the 30 min outside of normal working hours
OR B) take 30 minutes of PTO for interview
