Florida lawyer here. Is there anyway to waive into GA from another state so I don’t have to sit for another bar exam?

Not sure about GA specifically but a lot of states allow you to waive in after 5 years of practice or permit you to do a lawyer exam rather than a full bar exam if you’re barred elsewhere.

Thank you for sharing this.

No there isn’t directly. You can take the attorney’s bar in GA though. It’s one day I think instead of two. You ~may~ be able to waive into DC then later waive into GA using your DC bar membership, but that could take years.

like

Gotcha. Well then yeah, just atty’s bar.

No, not GA. You need to have taken the bar exam in a reciprocal state.

I waived into ga from ny. The application package is a bear

That’s because NY is reciprocal and you probably took the bar there

Right now I’m a data analyst with TSQL/PLSQL/MySQL experience. I have experience writing complex queries/views/stored procedures/etc. I have intermediate excel skills and have dabbled in Power BI. I also taught myself PowerAutomate and now am automating my weekly/monthly tasks. My question is what will make me more marketable as a data analyst? Will getting my certificate in PowerBI help? What is a good ETL tool to learn?
