Yet nobody acts like New York’s governor is at fault? Media bias is insane lol

like

Well because Andrew Cuomo clearly acted with what he thought was the best idea at the time so that absolves him of any responsibility. He’s also a good speaker that keeps on “owning” Trump so he’s clearly the most knowledgeable expert on handling this virus

like

Well there were several articles D1 that called out Cuomo’s response. I think the issue with Desantis is that after New York everyone should have learned their lesson in the US. He chooses to continue to ignore what we now know and move forward. So being critical of Desantis now is warranted because although Covid would still be around Florida most likely would not be as impacted as it is if he chose to follow the lessons learned.

This.

GOP governors are not into lessons learned from others experience. Their philosophy is to let me eff up things first and then I will fix it.

Last 5 years I've been fortunate enough to be working, especially thru the pandemic in a very successful ortho practice. Past months I've been struggling with a nagging hip injury I had surgery in February, went to work the next day. My body is failing & my mind is following, I've recently turned to alcohol. I've spoken to my PCP she gave me something to back off the booze & I've been going to therapy for hip & mh. How should I speak to my employer about taking time off? Prob another procedure

My anxiety has snowballed in the past month and I’m really struggling. If you think about that feeling of nervousness you feel when you’re about to walk into a job interview.. that’s how I feel all day every day. I’m suddenly nervous/anxious about EVERYTHING, even when I’m not thinking about anything. It’s to the point where last night I couldn’t fall asleep bc my heart wouldn’t stop racing in nervousness but there’s nothing I could/should have been nervous for. Has anyone else experienced this?

Is there anyone who’s experienced helping their parents get health insurance? Specifically, they aren’t eligible for Medicare, make too little to qualify for ACA subsidies, and cannot get employer-provided insurance. Only option is to pay standard premiums - and if that ultimately is the case, fine. Not trying to find loopholes, but given their low-income, would be nice to know if there are programs I’m not finding in my rsch.

I’m having my performance review tomorrow. Looked at my goals last year which was set before the pandemic really hit. Since it really affected business and travel I didn’t hit most of my goals. Do you think using “him/her” for “he/she” (ex: “her is playing” “him not here yet”) is something that kids usually grow out of? Or does it need direct intervention? I have 2 students who exhibit this error, who otherwise should be dismissed. Normally I’d just keep them on and work on it alongside other goals, but they don’t have any other goals, and with COVID, and my upcoming maternity leave in March, a more compact caseload would be advantageous.

Fellow road warriors: what are your eating habits on weekends at home? For me there are a lot of new restaurants near me that I want to try but by the time I get home I’m sick of eating out...

Facing a tricky situation and never dealt with this stuff before 🙃 - I generally dont smoke/drink, its seen as taboo in our culture and our household. I have a younger sibling who just finished college this week. I know he ocassionally consumes alcohol which tbh not too surprised/worried abt. Recently heard from one of his friends that they are worried about his smoking habit and was totally blind sided. Apparently its been going on for 2 months and he recently upped it to twice a day..(cont)

Has anyone figured out how to not feel absolutely horrendous when you wake up? I dread mornings because waking it so hard for me.

I prioritize getting 7-8 hours of sleep (this is the best I can do at the moment with work and a small baby) and I’ve stopped drinking because even 1 beer seems to make the morning 10x worse. Anything else I can try?

How much should I have saved solely for real estate investments?

I think I want to step my toes in the water by renting an apartment complex and renting it out on AIR BNB.

Has anyone here done this? How much would you advice I have saved before I do this? I know there are fees as well as costs of furnishing, etc. but looking for further advice :)

Getting job using fake experience and fake certificates is easier than getting job as a fresher or switching jobs with experience by serving notice period !

If companies do proper background verification or able to decrease notice period to 30days genienue candidates will get benefited.

In recent job selection on service based companies many new joiners are with fake experience but with good packages, In project managing them is too difficult too for sure as far as i know
