My personal view is that 3 days in Siem Reap is more than enough. I wasn’t too impressed by PP, maybe rather check out one of the beach locations if it works from a time perspective
Agree with EY1. 3 days in SR, including Ankor Wat is enough.
A lot of people do the smaller temples 1 day, main temple 1 day.
Outside of PP - killing fields takes about 1/2 day.
If I had as much time as you I would do 1 day at Ankor Wat and try to hit some beach locations.
I’d give yourself 2 full days in SR - there are two temple “loops” and we needed a full day for each (with a private driver). The temples are pretty spread out and are not walking distance between each other. In theory you could cram both in one day but it was so full of other tour groups that we’d have really struggled to do it. I’ve heard great things about the beaches/ islands in the south but never made it down there.
The bus to PP is long — 7 hours each way. I would maybe take a few days to check out some of the small villages near SR. Spend two days at Angkor Wat.
I really liked PP, spent maybe 5 days there, you can also head south to Kep/ Kampot or Koh Rong can be chill for a few days
Sunrise at Ankor Wat and Ta Prohm! It is a very different experience and well worth doing
