Hi guyzz My internship at cognizant got over on october and joined as fte from mid october in cts but ihave still not been allocated any project ...previously i was allocated in one project but that work didnt came from client ...and since them i am not been allocated to any project i have talked to my manager and they said that they are still finding a project for me ...so what should i do about it I am getting really stressed now

My goal post-graduation is to work in Big4 audit. This summer, I have an accounting/finance internship at a private company and I can rank several departments to intern in. It seems impossible to decide as many of them seem interesting. The depts are internal controls over financial reporting, external reporting, corporate treasury, corp tax, and business finance/market risk. Any advice on which would be most beneficial?

We had always had a good working relationship and we were only a couple years age difference. What should I expect as a KPMG Audit intern this summer?

Getting an internship as a Masters student - I have been looking for an internship in the NLP field for the upcoming summer but find it extremely hard to get one. 1) there aren’t many companies that offer internships in this field 2) a lot of them (esp big ones, which tend to offer internship in this field) require a PhD… My question is - does it make sense for a master student enrolled in a 2-year program to get an internship during summer?

If I intern with a company and get a full time offer after the internship should I expect the base salary to be more then what is listed as the starting salary for that position

I have not been on here in a long time, so forgive me if this has been talked about recently but…with WFH/remotely becoming more and more of the norm, what is the appeal to consulting at this point? The only real positive differentiator between consulting vs some other industries was travel (which I hated but loved the points/miles). Will we continue to see more and more experienced employees leave consulting?

It almost seems like Tech makes as much as consulting partners in half the time. I’m early in my career doing Data Analytics in consulting. Is it worth to pivot to more of a technical side and try to jump into big tech rather than try and climb the ladder in consulting?
