Couldn’t you just light the money on fire instead?
Have you seen the way they handle checked luggage? Certainly a risk checking it.
Smart idea...can’t debate that...OP must be smart given that they’re platinum at two airlines 😸
Thanks Sudhir! Well put
Whoa, with your consulting skills I certainly would. Glad I have better skills!! 🤣😜
No joke, I saw someone do exactly this at MSP this morning (on Delta). Should’ve posted to People of the Airport (derp). So just know, yeah you can do it, but you might end up in a FB post--under a more vigilant eye.
I have no answers for you but really curious about the situation in which you need to air travel with a 65” TV
Better get ready to get a new tv. Not a shot the airline doesn’t destroy it. That will probably be the first thing they throw out of the plane
Moving cities don’t want to sell the TV. What is the big deal? You can carry clothes but not TV?
Use bubble wrap...and pray
Ship it...
Greyhound has a pretty cheap service for shipping large stuff. Just have to pick it up from their terminals, which are admittedly usually in the worst neighborhoods of every city
If it survives Amazon UPS it will survive air travel. OP be specific abt whether you're trying to ship in country or out
I’m assuming it is a high-end TV (eg OLED ultra-hd)...do you have airline status?
Haha not judging, was genuinely interested. Poor assumption on my part hat if you were moving you could move the TV with your other furniture... good luck.
Yes, I am platinum at AA and united
#AmazonPrimeShipping, just buy a new one for what you’ll end up trying to pay in shipping
The problem is keeping it under the 65” total size. Above that you will pay much more for oversized luggage
It was probably an international traveler, it’s quite common for them to buy a TV here which they can’t buy in their country. If it was in original packaging, it normally holds up good and reaches the destination intact.
^D3 thanks for being a douchebag and naming all of "us" as Sudhir.
