Something tells me this is a humblebrag... Anyway I would go with the Tribeca loft
Pro
Generally lower energy. More families as you approach Battery Park City area.
You need to increase your budget

Sounds about right. Should consider buying

Tribeca loft. Building amenities are overrated IMO. You pay for them and don’t end up using them nearly as much as you think you will.

Those two neighborhoods are very different. Spend some time walking around in each and see which one is more to your taste
Pro
Would go for East Chelsea for more walkable locations
Both of those neighborhoods are completely different. TriBeCa is pretty quiet and family oriented. Chelsea is... not.
Amenities and having a doorman are really nice imo. Even if you don't use the building gym, having a doorman, laundry, trash all in the building makes life easier. That said it's a condo so make sure you have full access to amenities, that the condo owner is on top of their sh*t, & that renters are treated equally to owners. I lived in a coop & condo. The condo had a concierge that wouldn't help me w/anything & maintenance wouldn't fix any issues w/o owner approval & he was very unresponsive.
“Decent price”
We live in a 1,400 sq ft apt (incl outdoor space) in Greenwich village for $7K and love it. Tribeca is too far south and east chelsea is too far north
If you want a fun neighborhood, avoid those two and check out the various Villages 🙂
