Any in-house counsel in here willing to post their company, level or YOE, and total comp breakdown? If you’re comfortable, please consider posting both your current stats and what your stats were when you first moved in-house. If there’s any other information that you want to share, please include that too (e.g., hours, interesting perks, etc.). Info on in-house salaries is pretty hard to come by, and it would be great to compile some data points here! Facebook Amazon Google Netflix Apple

So McKinsey Digital and Mck Imp are both marketing names. Once you’re in the firm no one can tell who’s who unless you look up their profile specifically. Staffing is the same regardless and pretty much up to your preference.
It depends. Some better, some the same. But the best part is your are making real impact.

How does McKinsey Digital fit into the mix? Is it a subsidiary? Or is it very much the same as the regular McKinsey work but with tech focus?
I mean it’s not a 9-5 for sure, but everyone I’ve worked with has been really good about boundaries! I think the key at McK in general is to find the really good people who are also respectful of this, and just continue working with them
Not any different, it really depends on the project. Some of the implementation projects start out with a strategy piece as well which can have pretty long hours as well.
Does anyone at McKinsey work normal hours like 8am-6pm? Or is that unheard of?
C1 - Not yet. 1st interview next week
All the job listings I see for McK implementation seem to be looking for someone with 10+ years in a specific industry (auto manufacturing, for example). Does MI also hire people with 2-3 YOE consulting (transformation/implementation) in that industry? Assuming you really know your stuff of course
Ok thanks guys. I don’t have an MBA but sounds like MI is a potential option to take my energy & utilities operations expertise at some point 🤠
