Hi! I'm currently interviewing (3/6 interviews so far) for for an appeals manager role for DME. The job entails not only to bill for dme (cms 1500) but also to follow up on any denials or appeals, amongst other administrative duties. My questions are is it typical to have 1 person doing both the billing and denials within a new vertical for all ins.? How difficult is billing for dme as I only have experience in gyn onc and lactation billing? What's a fair salary? I have 8+ yoe in rcm, no certs.

I was on social media today and reading about the Adam Toledo video and it took me back to last June, which on top of the pain from seeing this racist system continue to win out, June was my lowest billing month and hurt my confidence about hitting hours compared to my white peers.

Hello all. I'm a Foreign Medical Graduate who recently moved to US looking fot better life. Currently not Board Certified to work as a physician in US territory. I'm currently working as a Patient Care Technician in a dialysis company because it was the 1st job I could get when I got to the US. Is there any other option I can do where I can get a better pay or growth within the organization? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone had success reducing or getting off stimulants? I been on vyvanse for 10 years and now at a pretty high dose (60mg). I feel fine when I take 60mg but my concern is if I don’t take that much I feel barely functional and I don’t want to go any higher in future years. Not taking on weekends basically requires me to just lay in bed all weekend.

My own office, but shared receptionist, all utilities included, live answering service, conference rooms to reserve for bigger meetings, etc. It's a big change from the very large office I've been working in. I think now is a great time to see things in perspective. I’ve learned that some companies care for their employees more so than others. Name companies that you no longer will buy from and vice versa.

This past year I’ve been feeling especially burnt out. Briefs are taking longer to click and it’s a struggle to come up with creative ideas. Even when I come back from a few days off, I find myself unable to focus on even the smallest project. I’ve thought about switching agencies or go in-house in hopes that new clients will get me excited and eager to work, but worried I’ll find myself in the same boat. The need to pay bills seems to be the only thing keeping me going. Any advice??? Plzzz

Some people seem to think that folks will never be comfortable in an office setting again, which if true, means the same people will never be comfortable at a sporting event, museum, concert, etc. I understand that concern at the moment. But, if a vaccine becomes available, how many of you here will be comfortable with a return to “normal” life? Life eventually went back to normal after the Spanish Flu pandemic. Is it foolish to assume that will be the case here?
