Have been thinking about this as well. At least in PwC, the US firm a is completely separate firm from any other foreign firm.

You can’t work for a US firm if you live in another country. It’s against the firms policy.

If I moved from EY Business Consulting to AlixPartners Enterprise Improvement would my exit opportunities 5+ down the road be much different? AlixPartners is appealing because of the smaller firm feel, more focused line of work, and substantially better pay.
