Hi! I’m an Indian national in the US looking to renew my H1B visa. My work permit is valid but by H1B has expired. All appointments in US consulates in India have been full for the past 2-3 months. Looking to see if I could do this in another country - I’ve heard Brazil, Dubai are options. Have any of you tried this? Where did you go / would you recommend?

09/07- lawyers filed H1 transfer in PP at CSC.
09/11- Receipt notice from USCIS.
09/19- Approved.

Joined on receipt on 09/10. Commendable job by PwC law.

I had HR round today for TCS, Everything was ok until HR offer salary, offering 11.5 for 4 yoe in automation testing, Current package is 7.65. I have said ok and she said i will receive offer letter in 7-10 days but i am not convinced with that offer.
I am thinking to reject that as it is very low and i can't put papers based on that low of a package.

Anyone here currently work or have worked for @Gartner as an AE in Large Enterprise? I’ve had a couple of opportunities to interview over the past several years but have passed both times. Pay appears to be pretty solid from what I’ve been told and I’d eventually like to work a smaller book size and sell services instead of SaaS, as these are usually always in demand regardless of economic conditions.

Had a pmo colleague say to me this week "you don't get the exec view man....that's why I'm wearing the suit." in response to me sharing a tech problem that underpins the clients entire data strategy plan.

Keep on laughing at us tech consultants man....my exit offer just dropped and I'll be earning x5 what he is lol.

What's been your strategy to ensuring benefits from RPA are tracked, realised, and accepted or prominent with the ELT?

I personally find myself weaving from different industries, using my evovling PR and comms skills, which I love because I get to apply my talent to new verticals and I am constantly learning. However, it’s interesting to me that many companies still want industry specific experience for so many opportunities. These same companies want agility and adaptability in candidates. In my opinion, industries can be learned, but skills & working styles deserve more focus.

What are your thoughts on this?
