Hi Fishes, I am bit confused to pick the role in KPMG lighthouse as Sr Cloud Data architect or Saama technology as a Project lead. Money wise it is not a big difference. In KPMG I will work with partner where as in saama I will work with project/program manager. Please suggest your opinion. Saama KPMG KPMG India

I’m seeing more breakthrough cases / overall cases are increasing. Literally no downside to getting my third shot.
Ditto
Better protection. Also improved 5G signal.

Cases going up like crazy in my state, have school age kids who bring a bunch of gunk home, and TBH my family getting covid around the holidays could ruin all of our plans. Don’t wanna spend another one at home.

Before the holidays I did some digging and felt comfortable with the vaccines level of protection against serious illness so wasn’t planning on it, but I’ve switched back to “don’t want to catch covid at all” and the booster will certainly help with that
Trying to get microchipped by the government in case I get kidnapped over the holidays
I got the J&J vaccine originally and have seen a lot of stuff about how getting either a moderna or Pfizer booster could be helpful. For me, it was definitely an easy to choice to make- I don’t mind getting a shot and they’re readily available now so it’s not a fight to get one like it was in the spring
Pfizer is kinda messing me up. After J&J I had a rough 24 hours so this experience is similar.

Saw some of the data but didn’t dig at all, just figured there was no reason not to.

I haven’t yet but I will in a few weeks later in my 3rd trimester with the hopes that baby will be born with as many antibodies as possible. I got my first and second shot pre-pregnancy
My wife just started her third trimester and we got out booster last week! Hoping for the same thing.
I live in an anti-vax county and am seeing elderly / sick (cancer) relatives over the holidays and ending the year with a week in Mexico. As part of heath tech, I was also part of 1A to get the shots so it’s been >9 months since my last shot. Had literally zero side effects with the booster (also administered at the same time as the flu shot). Just made sense for me with personal circumstances.
Minimal downside (same risk for side effects as doses 1 and 2) with substantial upside
Scheduled mine for this evening while I am visit my parents. I am traveling cross country every week, so I want to get it even if the benefit is marginal. Tomorrow is the only day for the next month that I can convalesce. Minimal downsides, vaccines are being wasted where I am right now (FL), so I don’t feel guilty about taking someone’s dose
Partly bc it was available, mostly bc I was going to travel to see family and wanted the extra protection for them
Echo this - don’t want to put my elderly parents at risk when I finally visit over the holidays, having not seen them since December 2019
1) Got J&J and have read that efficacy wanes much more quickly than the other two, and mixing and matching the booster will help protect me
2) Breastfeeding and this is the #1 way to protect my kid by giving him antibodies - who knows when he’ll be able to be vaccinated
3) I go into work half the week so I’m potentially exposed to the virus all the time
4) Why not? No harm in getting extra protection
As someone who studied the COVID vaccines mechanism and such in school, if you’re a healthy person there’s really no skin in the game if you get it, you would be an anomaly to not benefit from it in some way. So I treat it like the flu shot, and get it cuz it’s there
Felt safer to do it. Figured why not? It floored me tho (Pfizer 3x) - by far the worst this time. Still no regrets tho lol
I have preexisting conditions, and my husband has some significant health issues that put him at risk. I'm the primary caregiver for him and my children, so it was a way to reduce risk all around.
Haven't gotten it yet, but I will. I am trusting our own McKinsey health experts who gave some pretty strong stats about the efficacy if you get a booster. I think it was something in the order of 9-10x more effective.

Within or after 6 months of getting the second? Or is that not a factor?
As a breakthrough covid positive case recently I wish I had gotten my booster on time! I think my antibodies had worn down :/
I kind of prefer not to die an avoidable death. Especially now with breakthroughs everywhere it's better to get that extra layer of protection, even if it will knock me out another day.

Just felt safer. Side effects sucked.
