If you’re going to be working in Baltimore City, take te Amtrak. Northeast regional or the Acela. I’m originally from the NJ/NYC area and live in Baltimore City now and I love the train. No lines, security or big terminals. You have cell reception and WiFi. The seats are big and comfy. Plus, if you were flying into BWI it’s like a half an hour outside of the city. You’ll probably spend the same amount of time flying or taking the train when all is said and done, so why not be comfortable and less stressed? PM me if you need any advice or recommendations about the Baltimore area

I hate Amtrak, overpriced and uncomfortable
Yup, I would totally prefer flying than taking the train
I take the Acela from NYC to Balt for my current project. Love it. The flights to Balt from NYC are also pretty limited. It’s not cheap though. Probably 2x the flights I could take. But i save a pretty big uber expense required to get to JFK, not to mention the added travel time.
Take the Acela as well. Faster and less stressful than the tiny RJ that delta has from JFK
How far is the client from DCA/IAD or one of the Amtrak stops? Is it an hour no matter what? Or are one of these stops closer?
Both around 1 hour to client.
Amtrak, easier to work on. Less distractions more mobility
Also, if anyone is coming into Baltimore feel free to reach out to me if you want suggestions or to grab a beer on me
