Speaking from experience, life is much better once you leave whether in industry or a number of other firms.
For industry, if you have an advanced degree then you can start looking as early as ~8 months. If you don’t then I’d say prob close to 1.5 years. The process takes time.
For other consulting firms as early as 6 months but definitely by 1 year its fair game to explore other firms. This process is a pretty fast turnaround as they are effectively poaching you.
Focus on applying broadly and looking for a better role, rather than investing time into “optimizing” your CV experience. One more title bump or not won’t make/break your exit opportunity.
While WFH is a factor, that’s far from the only reason your experience is not what you’re likely hoping for. I wouldn’t place your hopes into the return to office.
I left at the ~1.5 yr mark and love life on the other side. Haven't worked past 5:30pm
C3- any tips/suggestions for others looking to transition to industry?
I’m holding on to possibility the office opening helps... but getting less hopeful with all the departures
Jeeezus I know Clearview has gotten really bad these past few years but what kind of dumpster fire has it become?
Hi - I left ClearView about a year ago so please feel free to DM me!
Not CV, but at a similar firm with similar thoughts, happy to chat over DM
Do people who have left feel like they wouldn't have joined clearview at all knowing what they did, or just that they would be planning on exiting quickly and mitigating burn out until then. What else would you have done differently?

Would have reneged for a different offer, nevertheless less I learned a lot and am now overly meticulous, critical, foregoing of WLB with a perfectionistic mentality (to the point that we are often deemed strong performers at post-exit places) as well as can make pretty slides. So I guess it was not in vain.
If I may ask- why did you leave CV?
This. With so many people leaving, I feel like I’m just expected to know how to carry a team even though I’m barely grasping some concepts myself. It’s anxiety inducing when PLs aren’t as available or appear frustrated that you don’t know what you’re doing, definitely demotivating.
