How does H1B unused time recapture work after leaving the USA?

I am on h1b with an approved i140. Been on h1b for more than 10 years. In this last h1 renewal I have about 1.5 years left.

If I leave for India now, can my employer H1 cap exempt petition to recapture the unused time? Does it have to happen within 6 years of leaving the USA?

My cat sitter closed the bathroom door and so my cats couldn’t use the litter box for 2 days. At least one of the cats was doing their business on a cat bed which was on top of my bed. I threw away the cat bed, washed blanket, comforter, sheets and mattress protector. The mattress itself looks fine but still has a funny smell. Should I get rid of it?

Y’all ever want your cat to leave you alone when you’re working, but then get salty when they leave the room?

How on earth do I get my cat to stop licking blankets?! She is about 15 months and if I leave a blanket out she will totally lick it up! It ruins the blanket by making it all crust, but more importantly I am concerned with her ingesting lose fibers while she is licking. It drives me insane!

Our 3 year old cat got diagnosed with a heart issue. Genetically weak heart muscle or something apparently and we won’t know how long he has - could be weeks, could be 1-2 years.. 😞 just hope he doesn’t feel any pain. I love our kitties but it just is rough when they are sick and there’s nothing you can do.

How do you know if your cat would like you to get them another cat? 🤔

We just met a wonderful kitten while camping in East Idaho. We’re flying back to Bay Area tonight and thinking if we should leave him here or drop him off at a local shelter or take him with us and find him home in the Bay. What should we do?
(My gf and I already have 3 cats between us and so we won’t be able to adopt this one unfortunately)
