I’m stressed lately and like 90% sure I’m having night terrors, does anyone have experience with this? Toddlers get them but it’s less common in adults. I wake up feeling disoriented and in danger and race to another room! I’ve trouble recognizing my surroundings & I’m stuck in a dream. Apparently they happen at the start of a sleep cycle; the adrenaline feels like a heart attack! How do I relax and decompress?? Now I’m terrified of going to sleep. Help!

I don’t think that most people they find in the lake went in it willingly. Water makes it too easy to cover up murders. Washes away evidence. But it’s dismissed because most people they found had also been drinking. But people just disappearing miles away from the Lake don’t just fall in it. Yes, suicide happens. But many of these cases show zero signs of anything like that. The constant MO is being out with friends having fun. The friend vanishes. Then is found in the lake weeks later.

Calling all introverts…do you ever question whether something is wrong with you when the majority of society is extremely extroverted? Feeling extra sensitive, was forced to sit in a conference room with people every day this week and am mentally exhausted from having to engage in non-work related convos in which I have zero interest.

Am I in the wrong here? After working full day, I was taking a nap in the evening before we start offshore handoff calls. My wife sends the kids to wake me up and brush their teeth. I was so mad that she chose to wake me up for 2-3 min brushing and had an argument.

My mum cheated on my dad when I was in grade school and I still resent her for it. I try not to but my dad sacrificed so much for everyone in our family and I don’t understand how she could have done that.

Somehow my dad found the strength to forgive her because he didn’t want us growing up in a broken family like he did. I feel like I can’t fully move past it after seeing how it broke my dad and it subconsciously affects my actions towards my mum sometimes.

Does it ever make you sad that wealthy corporations and partners are profiting off of the fact that some if not most of us are insecure overachievers willing to enter jobs where we’ll work 70 hours a week because we feel like we have to to derive value?

How much does someone’s taste in movies reflect their beliefs as a person? I find myself quick to judge people if they profess to liking a certain type of movie. I’m seeing someone with radically different taste in movies than mine and I’m worried if that means they won’t respect me as a F 🐠. (Let’s just say the US is not my country of origin or his, and I don’t like movies from my home country because 9/10 show women as victims needing to be rescued by men, but he likes those movies a lot).
