For all of you jumping from one B4 to another B4, what are your experiences so far? Are you happier or do you wish to have jumped to midsize instead?

This might be for the Exit Opportunity bowl, but wondering if anyone had insight into the Cigna Enterprise Strategy group? I don't have many contacts in the US and don't have a sense for what the internal strategy roles at the large health insurers are like, but I saw a posting recently and was immediately tempted. I'm at ~7 YOE made up of Big 4 and now at a boutique firm.

I have an offer at KMPG as a Manager in their tax group and am now a supervisor at a mid sized firm and have been told I would make manager this next year. Can anyone give me some insight into culture and work life balance at the larger firms? And any pros and cons of moving to big 4. My main concern is flexibility from March -15 to end of April as I’ve already committed to going to weddings or bachelor parties a lot of weekends in that time frame and am concerned that would be an issue at big 4

I need advice. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. 3 years ago I left a small contracting company that I was at for 2.5 years. Because I had an offer with Big 4 & I was chasing brand on my resume - which did open up lots of doors for me. That small company was still to this day one of the best I had worked for. Smart, caring people. Pay was ok, but they had amazing WLB like 9/80. After Big 4, I started at GH for 3 months. Hated it. Quit and left to industry where I’m at now. Continued in comments

I am working on a job posting for a remote tax senior role. I am seeing salaries on here mentioned everywhere from 80k to 110k for big 4. I am assuming these jobs posting require massive overtime. We are a small firm under 10 people that prioritizes work life balance. We have a 35 to 40 hour cap during tax season and 30 to 35 hours during the off-season. My gut was going to post it at a salary of $55,000 and bonuses of $20,000 but now I am hesitant. Thoughts?
