This might be for the Exit Opportunity bowl, but wondering if anyone had insight into the Cigna Enterprise Strategy group? I don't have many contacts in the US and don't have a sense for what the internal strategy roles at the large health insurers are like, but I saw a posting recently and was immediately tempted. I'm at ~7 YOE made up of Big 4 and now at a boutique firm.
I have an offer at KMPG as a Manager in their tax group and am now a supervisor at a mid sized firm and have been told I would make manager this next year. Can anyone give me some insight into culture and work life balance at the larger firms? And any pros and cons of moving to big 4. My main concern is flexibility from March -15 to end of April as I’ve already committed to going to weddings or bachelor parties a lot of weekends in that time frame and am concerned that would be an issue at big 4
Does anyone know if Big 4 are sponsoring visa now or in the near future? Audit or advisory
I’m interviewing at a hospitality company where it seems like every employee is former Big 4. I think my competition are Big 4 employees. Im at a regional firm. How can I make myself stand out? (cont)
PwC COE, Twitter accountant, or offsite tax preparer. Any other exit ops that are 100% remote for a B4 audit manager? Have an incurable sleep disorder and living a few timezones over would be 🥰🥰🥰
I need advice. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. 3 years ago I left a small contracting company that I was at for 2.5 years. Because I had an offer with Big 4 & I was chasing brand on my resume - which did open up lots of doors for me. That small company was still to this day one of the best I had worked for. Smart, caring people. Pay was ok, but they had amazing WLB like 9/80. After Big 4, I started at GH for 3 months. Hated it. Quit and left to industry where I’m at now. Continued in comments
I am working on a job posting for a remote tax senior role. I am seeing salaries on here mentioned everywhere from 80k to 110k for big 4. I am assuming these jobs posting require massive overtime. We are a small firm under 10 people that prioritizes work life balance. We have a 35 to 40 hour cap during tax season and 30 to 35 hours during the off-season. My gut was going to post it at a salary of $55,000 and bonuses of $20,000 but now I am hesitant. Thoughts?
What is West Monroe Experience Consultant? I had an interview with them today. Is it on per with Big 4 Senior Associate?
Does big 4 all roughly pay the same?
Looking for some insight on a Business Value Services Consultant role at Salesforce. I have 5 YOE doing SAP implementations for multiple clients at B4 and am very well versed in supply chain processes/integrations. Anybody know what the role is like or what the pay might look like?
London Boutique Tech to MBB Dubai - doable? 5 years Big 4 exp, M level, left for boutique at M title, actually SM in role vs. Big 4. 2 years there for 7 total. Looking to move to MBB strategy role or Big 4 SM. Any advice or experiences?
What are the exist opportunities for a new MBA with 10 years experience in tech consulting? Don’t want to travel so not looking to stay back B4 and not pursuing MBB for the moment. Pros and cons?
Tips on making a strong lateral move to another firm as a Senior Manager? High performer on high profile work, exceeded metrics, but I’m interested in making a shift. Don’t want to do another Big 4.
Nothing worse than over clarifying after receiving two word docs that explain everything b4 the call 🙄
I’m a BME that initially wanted to go to med school but decided that my interests were more in the healthcare strategy world (unfortunately super late as it was senior year in feb when recruiting cycles were either closing or closed). Ended up taking a b4 tech consulting role as it was one of the few offers I got and also because it’s some type of consulting role. I was just wondering how I should position myself so I can exit into a more strategy focused role preferably in HC after 1-2 yoe.
Does Big 4 companies blacklist you if you have accepted their offer letter but later declined to join? I am referring particularly to PwC and Deloitte. Please advice.

We shouldn't laugh at PwC, none of us would have done any better: Deloitte would be back at the office congratulating each other and forget about the envelope, EY would have never gotten there...

Boston Consulting Group what is the perception of the Knowledge team within BCG? What do they do there? Is it worth leaving big 4 Consulting to pursue a Knowledge Analyst role?
