I’ve been through 5+ weeks of interviews with a company that will IPO next year and they did a bait and switch on me with the offer: it was advertised as “Head of” and then during the offer-walk-through-meeting today they said “oh btw we changed the title to ‘Senior Manager’ for this role”. They offered me a salary I made 4 years ago as a manager. They offered stock options with an exercise price TBD 1 year from now…which is when they’re hitting IPO. Is that normal for stock options?
Considering between 2 offers for strategy and ops analyst/associate with similar comp: DoorDash vs Yelp 2.5yoe What would yall pick, does anyone have insight into culture, brand, etc?
Me not buying a word of this propaganda on the compensation calls. They do realize who they’re trying to fool, don’t they? We invented smoke and mirrors. Don’t try it with us.
I interviewed with an ECD mid-last week and immediately after got some bad news that completely derailed the rest of my week. Because of that, I never even thought about sending a thank you email, but I’m now realizing that probably looks bad. Any tips on how to deal with this?
Im applying to this startup that has two positions that im really interested in. I already sent my app for one where I think my chances are better. Should I send an email to tell them Im interested in the other position as well, or would this be strange / weird?

My husband and I (both 27) max out our Roth IRAs each year, have a complete emergency fund, and I’m able to start maxing my 401K this year (he contributes 10% to his 401K - it isn’t possible for him to max his based on his current pay). We contribute 18% extra towards principal on our mortgage each month. We now have about $20k of additional savings we want to figure out what to do with. What would you recommend to someone who is new to stocks/investments?
Anyone work at or know someone who works at Epic that can refer me? I know they're going through deep stuff right now but it's my dream company and I'm absolutely willing to take a risk with their forced work from home policy.
My husband and I were watching the LuLaRich documentary and he pointed out the the big 4 firms are very similar to MLM pyramid schemes. 😆🤔🧐

Just had my first experience of being marginalized on a project, all ideas taken or given credit to someone else, and enduring a bromance between the other two consultants on the team. I’m not too...
Has anyone else considered moving on from consulting and going back to school for something in the medical field? I’m strongly considering the PA/NP paths.
