I'll be starting at a role in a few weeks with 140K base and a target bonus of ~70K.
I'm 2 years out of undergrad and joining the deal team of a midsized PE fund
I'm expecting ~12 hours a day M-F and maybe 5 or 6 hrs on weekends.
Not sure how accurate that is though. Most of them are former bankers so they are used to longer hours.
3 years out of undergrad. My specialty is ordering DoorDash and getting upgraded on United flights

I'm 5 months from it. By then will have been working 5 1/2 years, no graduate degree just bachelors in IT.
I do software implementation for various Federal clients, have 4 certs (no PMP). Honestly networking, making a name for myself with various leaders in my account group helped get me where I am.

Strategy, post-MBA at an MBB. But I hate it and am leaving the firm soon fornindustry where i will make $170k and not work 15+ hours a day.
Niche area of Cyber. ~5 years experience but was making $140k + bonus after 4. Left consulting because my firm wasnât fast tracking me and I felt like I was ready. Best move I could have made for myself. I miss the people but Iâm working half the hours for way more $ with limited travel.

IT systems auditing for banks after 5 years of experience
This type of work gets a bad rep for being âboringâ but it pays out the ass for those who stick with it. Not to mention itâs a pretty much recession-proof gig. Generally pretty high turnover rates so companyâs fork over the cash to retain talent.
