Found this on Reddit. Getting ready to do the same hopefully! https://www.reddit.com/r/IVF/comments/qamyr7/flying_with_pio/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
I traveled while giving myself PIO injections—no need for anything special. I was never questioned or pulled aside. No doctors note is needed.
Traveling with medications/injections is quite normal. TSA will not give you a hard time.
My clinic gives you a letter to bring that says I am under their care and need needles. Nobody asked any questions though.
As long as needles were not used you will be fine without a doctor note
Oh my! This brings back memories. Depending where you travel, check the airport regulations on what you can and cannot carry in your hand luggage. Some countries do not allow injections unless they are sealed, doctors note has been shared in advance and you are also carrying the original in person. As a precaution, carry the doctors note and also store the injections and all medications in clear bags for inspection.
