I was offered a new job in Internal Audit/ Consulting role at my current employer. W/ a jump in pay-grade level, 1 level (Hay Grade 16 to 17), and a 20% increase in salary ($108K to $130K) and 5% increase in potential bonus pay-out (10% to 15%). I was looking for $150K (39%) but am happy to get $140K (30%). How should I go about doing this?

Looking to choose a place to fly out of for getting my PPL. Would you recommend a program based out of a controlled or uncontrolled airport? Why are companies not more transparent about salaries? It should be required to list the salary range in a posting. I work at a small agency. I asked for a raise and was told you can get one in a few months if you do X,Y,Z but also keep in mind you make (on the low end of) what your position should make.

My question is—I wear many hats within my agency because we’re small and growing—So while I may be an art director, when needed I’m also a PA, or a production designer etc... SO shouldn’t my salary reflect that??

Trying to negotiate a job offer tomorrow to get to the market rate for the position (would be like a 10-13k jump). Is that doable? Any tips? Has anyone ever tried and the agency rescinded the offer?

I asked for a raise since I’ve been at my company for 1 year and because cost of living is up 6%. My boss recommended I hold off asking for a raise now and in 6 months he’ll see if I can get a promotion with a bigger raise bump.

He said even if I ask for a COL adjustment now it may make it harder to get the CEO to agree to a promotion in 6 months.
