Longest was almost a year. Shortest was still pretty long. Maybe six weeks? And there are some I never heard from either way (even though that’s not supposed to happen). The best thing to do is forget you applied.
Horrible answer, but it depends. For Congress, a couple of weeks. For Executive, two months.
I’m in executive and I can vouch for this
For DOJ months for each phase. For SEC one month for the initial call and two weeks after for the final interview. It all depends on the agency
Applied to the IRS, heard back 10 months later 😂
Six months for SEC.
Ha this makes me feel better about my 3 week wait.
About a month to hear that my application was referred to the hiring manager. Another month to schedule my first interview.
