For anyone who anyone who tested positive for COVID, have you noticed you hair falling out more than normal? I tested positive back in March and I swear my hair is coming out in clumps when I brush it. It’s becoming unnerving but I’m not sure if this is COVID related or maybe the stress of everything going on?

I’m thankful that I didn’t get this side effect but it did throw off other things as listed in the article that PS1 shared.

Or maybe you started noticing recently

Could be stress related too. They say hair loss occurs about 3 months after the stressful event so maybe you can trace it back. I recently had the same issue I honestly think I lost half of my hair within a month. I wasn’t even brushing because it was so depressing but ever time I TOUCHED my hair I would have a big chuck of my hair falling and mine was completely stress related. I had the worst time in April and almost exactly three months later it started and stopped completely a month later.

I wish I would have had this bowl ten years ago 😔 I recently was diagnosed with ADHD. I have been able to manage this far with coping mechanisms but I recently got divorced, have four kids and a busy job with a lot of aspects that are new to me. Now I may get fired for “lack of attention to detail” and “missing deadlines.” I wish I had looked into this so much earlier. I’m two weeks into taking Wellbutrin but I think it takes awhile to kick in, my psychiatrist suggested starting with that…

Discovered major pay difference between myself and two new male hires with equal experience. Asked for a raise and was shot down due to Covid and essentially told they make more (were talking a 30k) bc they don’t have my “other responsibilities” aKa my two kids. I know my productivity is effected by parental responsibility but I don’t feel that alone justifies the difference. I know our billable output isn’t drastically different. Not sure what my next steps should be and welcome any advice.

Anyone else kinda enjoying the wfh/lack of pressure to go out? I got a pay cut, I’m working harder than ever and things are uncertain but I can’t help but feel relieved to not be so emotionally drained. Maybe it’s because I’ve been doing a lot of emotional labor for others? 😬

The managing partner of my office likes to make jokes about Covid now that it is “over” (either in small group convos or speeches to the office). My dad died from Covid, and I honestly feel like it’s so insensitive for him to make these comments when he knows that I lost my dad to it. Our office isn’t that big, and I don’t think many people forget being told that someone they know lost someone from Covid. It has made me consider leaving because of it, but the economy isn’t great.

Hi All, I’m the bowl owner here, just wanted to mention that we are 50 members strong, hence I though we can do an anonymous introduction to mention where do you work, and where do you live… and what do you expect out of living in Pune city in terms of your career.

About myself, am working as a project manager in Citi, though I have moved to Mumbai from Pune during COVID to find a better opportunity here, I wish to move back to Pune in near future for better WLB and opportunities.

Transferred with my company to the UK from the U.S. literally three weeks before the pandemic hit. The transition has definitely been difficult as I came for a new office culture and city experience, leaving loved ones and a higher salary behind, which covid has obviously tainted. Since my situation seems to be unique, would love to get other people’s perspective- would you stick it out or go back?

Happy Friday. Just a reminder of a few things:

- ADHD is a disability, but it’s not the end of the world
- give yourself a break. Your brain needs it more than you realize
- medication is not a cure-all treatment. Medication + diet + exercise + self-organization is the key.
- ADHD causes us to feel emotions stronger than the average person.
- failure is inevitable, but so is success. Act accordingly, and be kind and fair to yourself
- life is hard, but that’s… wait, what was I saying? 😂😎❤️

I'm a US citizen living abroad I applied almost 11 months ago for my spouse. Married for years, kid. I wait and wait. It seems this will take 2 years, maybe more. I feel trapped. On one side the US system demands I work and domicile in US, the other side says families should be prioritized to stay together. My spouse has had enough of the process. I feel trapped abroad and locked in a dysfunctional system. We're just in limbo, it's depressing

Hey all,

My baby is measuring very big but doesn't seem to be coming on her own, so doctor wants to induce around my due date (I'm 39 weeks pregnant now).

Any risk factors I should take into consideration? Things I should make sure to bring up with my doctor ahead of time? This is my first baby.

Hello everyone I have 29 years as a dental professional in Texas. I started as a dental assistant back in 1993. As my career progressed as a RDA, I moved to the front office and eventually management. I even taught dental assistants and became the Program Director of a DA program. COVID opened up remote work for me, I manage eclaims, claims corrections and billing for two offices. $20 per hour, no bonuses or incentives, I know I am not getting paid enough! Any input would be appreciated.

Looking at exits into pharma and biotech. Have an opp at a biotech at the SM level. Total comp excluding equity is around $190k; RSUs vest over 4 years with annual refreshers, so first year equity would be around $6,200 and it would go up by $6,200 each of the next 3 years, plus whatever base bump I get. Very good benefits package.

They envision 2-3 years before I jump either to AD or right to D. Solid opp? Or hold out to go straight to director level?
