Best agencies to try to get into in SF?
Hi all,
Does your organization have a good work-life balance, especially for IDs? Or do you know any such organisation? Currently I am working for more than 12 hours a day. I am a mother of one year old, hence, want to switch to the organization, which has less work pressure.

Best: Freelance pay
Worst: Finding your next freelance gig
Best is the money and freedom, plus the connections you make.
Worst is the inconsistency and more often than not the actual work you work on not the best briefs, but the ones they don’t want the full-timers to waste time on. (Not always true though depending on your level, especially CD and up usually get better work freelance wise)
Banners or pitch. No in-between.
Upside: Obviously the money
Downside: You rarely get to produce anything. And if one of your ideas does get produced, the agency creative team that takes it over turns it into a piece of crap
The downtime.

This right hurrr.
That awful feeling of being unemployed between gigs,
I had my post removed because it reported as excessively negative. I just can't believe that. I said:
best thing about freelance;
No bullshit politics and stacks of cash
Worst
The hustle and no benefits.
How is THAT offensive?
