Had a great informational interview with a managing director last week. I mentioned that I applied for a position within the company and he said he could fast track the application for me. I sent him my resume at his request. I want to follow up. Is it too soon given that we met last week? Also, assuming he was genuine, I want to update him on what I've done since our chat and ask about how to prepare for any upcoming discussions/case interviews? Am I being too pushy? Thx
Ok, after an HR screening (and salary requirements) I had 3 interviews. Then HR calls for references and to be “reminded” of salary requirements. All 3 references now contacted. Will I get an offer?
Starting the interview loop again for a PgM role in UX at Google. I received good feedback the first set of interviews I did for a previous role but I didn’t get to the hiring committee. I would like to increase my chances this time since there are multiple roles open across different teams. I’m really worried about the GCA round since this loop is different and I don’t have experience in UX. Does anyone have any resources that would be useful for me to leverage for this round?
How do you get better at System Design Interviews? I'm gonna start with those and I'm really at a loss when I see questions like Design Uber, etc. While I can design a basic system well, something complex like Design Google Maps completely throws me off
Anyone here interviewed for Capital One Corporate Strategy (Associate)? Had a 3rd round case interview with a director and it was great aside from one logical qualitative question at the end. Do you need to have a perfect case to move forward? That very last question I blanked.

1 year out of school w/ 6 months of experience doing contract work as an ERP consultant , currently working with a strategy firm (6 months ) ... liked the technical stuff way more . But both are startups and feeling discouraged because I can’t seem to land an interview anywhere in the industry for any type of entry level consulting roles . Got an offer from big firm but blew it because clearance process took too long . Should I give up and switch industries ? No idea what to do ...
I've been interviewing frequently the past few weeks, and it's been easy to just set myself as busy and take the call, but how do I approach this once we return to the office? For those of you who interviewed pre-COVID, how did you take a 30 min - 1 hr call without setting off red flags?

Does anyone have tips on the Collaborative Solutions recruiting/interview process for people out of undergrad?
I had an interview for a position with a person that would be my co manager in this new department. I felt like he was trying to give me hard questions and never really listened to my answers. He basically was letting me know how he would handle the situation and try to cut me off when I did a follow up. I am like was that a good answer or was I way off. He has only been in that role for 3 weeks so might be an ego thing. I am like did I pass the interview haha. Advice.
Hi All, I’m currently in the interview process with AFS in DC for a job level 9 consultant and during the phone screening I asked for 110K. I currently work in Richmond for 90K for Infosys. moving to a higher COL, if AFS were to give the 110, would that be a negative change in salary? If so, should I ask for more? YOE: 2 years

Interviewing for a role at Deloitte in their Operations Transformation practice (FS background). Read a comment pushing against moving to Big 4 that read "I'd be wary about being an unknown entity at a large company during a global pandemic." Is this valid? How did most people fare during the pandemic? Is joining a big 4 now a bad idea?
This is random, but does anyone know if it causes a problem if I (an attorney) sit in with my dad for jury selection? They want to select via zoom and my dad is not familiar with the app (retired doc in his 70s), so he asked the clerk (I imagine it’s the clerk) if I could sit in with him. Clerk thought it would be okay, but would have to ask judge. Does anyone have familiarity with this? I’m a Corp attorney barred in another state and have done jury duty before, so I imagine no issues…
A bunch of friends and I have a potential real estate project in Mexico but one wants to obtain funding through crypto. We have financial and legal backgrounds but not much experience regarding crypto. Is it feasible to create a cryptocurrency to obtain this funding and if so, based on experience, how hard is it to promote / get the crypto rolling?
