For CA paralegals. I’m curious. What do you guys think of Newsom blocking the Bar’s Legal Reform Bill at reducing cost and expanding the availability of legal services, i.e. to include allowing paralegals to perform limited legal work?

There are plenty of incompetent attorneys around.

I don't know if we need to add more paras to the mix, but I didn't know the details of the bill.

Also, Newsom is a sleazy sleazebag, so if you're saying lobbyists got to him, no shock here.

I agree with regards to Newsom.

Hello all. Looking for thoughts and opinions. I’ve been a sales manager with a small company (I refuse to say it is a start up anymore since they bring in several million in ARR). I’ve been with them for a year and a half. I started at 50k and now make 63k. I am a full-cycle sales manager…the company does not believe in the use of BDRs. There’s no opportunity for growth. Is my salary fair (per MA standards)? I was promised high OTE… but with no marketing team I also hardly get leads.

As we get closer to the election in the U.S., have you noticed any shifts in campaign performance? Starting about a week and a half ago, I noticed the CPM for my paid campaigns very nearly triple. I'm curious if anyone else has seen anything like that. I know elections always drive as process up, but I don't recall it being so drastic before.

What are the best ways to collect demographic details from your employees?

Our business is two years old and about 60 full time employees strong. We've never gathered demographic details from our team members such as ethnicity, cultural identify, sexual orientation, etc. and recently ran into an instance where the percentages of diversity among staff was requested. We obviously do not intend on guessing so I'd love your best options of how you gathered this info. where you are! thanks.
