Just want your thoughts. 73 yo friend has heart valve replacement surgery going on right now. He has 2 adult children in their 40s with no kids at home. One is a lawyer making beaucoup $$ in B and lives 45 mins from the Hosp. Neither daughter is at the hospital during the surgery. As a critical care nurse and lawyer, I find this unacceptable, esp since they have close relationships with dad. Stepmom who raised them is alone at the Hosp. I don’t know if he said not to come but that’s unimportant.

I have been with my current company for the last 14 years. Straight commission position. Since 2013 hey have been trying to rebuild this store. Since working for them we’ve gone through 3 CFO’s and I am on my third BM who will being leaving the company only after a year. There is a new Area leader which is causing bad karma among the team. I’m new and I’m still not understanding the concept of USDC. Aside from pay, and supposedly more 9-5, what’s the difference. It doesn’t appear for me that anyone else on my projects is USDC (how would I know/check?) and I have no clue how many hours they’re working. It’s just all confusing.

Does anyone have experience with experienced hire referrals at the USDC? I’m with the USDC already and looking to refer my partner. I think she would be a great fit so I want to help as much as possible

Recently accepted an offer to join Deloitte usdc. I applied through my university. However, upon reading all these reviews (here and online). I am definitely second guessing this decision. The compensation is lower than I expected. But I do want to do this as a stepping stone but I also have been in the tech field for 7+plus yrs.

Why does USDC supply chain send some to DU, while other OPs don’t. Wouldn’t we all benefit?

Aside from the low pay, one of my biggest gripes working at USDC was the culture. Working remotely has made work so much more bearable. Anyone else share my thoughts? I'm dreading the return to office - just thinking about working in the office is giving me PTSD 😂
