As long as you fail one case, you have a lower chance of making it to second round. Not zero, but a lower chance.
Thank you, good to know it’s not a zero chance. Will see how it pans out
Highly depends on the discussion had after. You could absolutely crush one case and not do so hot on the other and be fine, but could also disqualify you.
In that scenario there is usually a senior person who does the behavioral who will be the decider, or the two people doing the case may do a “lean” one way or another. Simply, you’re def not out for sure.
As long as anyone you interview with doesn’t think you should pass you’re out. If they think you goofed it but need another chance they will pass you with specific things to be tested next round
You should know the decision within a couple of days regarding next steps.
Doesn’t sound like you “failed” though.

Which region are you? I only had 1 case and 1 behavioral first round
London. I had 2 interviews first round with 2 different Consultants. It was split 30 mins behavioural and 30 mins case for both
how do you know you “failed”

Wouldn't call that a fail. It's a nice plus to be able to see problems in different ways but I can't really fault a candidate for picking a way that works that wasn't MY way (or the absolute most optimistic way).
