Lululemon! I would say enough for two weeks of workouts plus 2 - just so you don’t have to do laundry every week. Nothing kills my mood more than not having the right workout clothes on. I have enough so there are no excuses. If 3x a week, 8 outfits. The plus two because sometimes I wear mine just for comfort and not working out.
Surprised no one have mentioned this but the 90 degrees leggings from TJ Maxx are awesome! Squat proof, has pockets, and great materials. I mix mine in with lululemon as well, but find a lot of my favorite affordable pieces are from TJMaxx
Agreed!! They (as well as RBX) from Tjmaxx have great zip up long sleeves and breathable tops as well

I have 30 Sets of workout clothes enough for a whole month. I usually get them at the gap or forever 21
Whoa damn
I probably have too many but old navy has a lot of options that are cute, affordable and hold up well! I have some lululemon/athleta too but I’ve been really impressed with old navy
I think you’re asking what quantity of workout wear I have?
I like Athleta, and almost always try to buy on sale. It’s “cuteness” factor is less important to me than function, especially since I workout at home now.
I don’t like Lululemon, it just doesn’t work for me (to each their own!).
I primarily do spin and HIIT classes so I only wear my gear once before washing because I get pretty sweaty.
I have enough for about 1.5 weeks, but I workout ~5 days a week, and have a w/d in my apartment. If I didn’t I would probably have 2+ weeks worth.
I probably have at least 15-20 sets. I love Alo Yoga and Carbon38! They are always dropping new colors/prints.
I’m a big fan of old navy since they have a great selection of tall sizes.
I tend to get sweaty since I run and do HIIT classes. The lululemon pants are amazing because they stay put and I don’t need to pull them up constantly, which I find myself doing with other brands. It adds up but I have 7. Sports bra are all different brands and I would say I have 2 weeks worth because I sometimes wear them under regular clothes ha. And numerous tops I got from lululemon for sale.

I have about 5 mismatched sets of “classic” sportswear (leggings, sports bras, athletic tanks/tees, running shorts) and some trash clothing I wear when working out at home (ie, getting sweaty no bra in an old painting shirt)
I just really dislike having a closet choked up with repetitive garments and it takes up SO MUCH SPACE so I’d rather do the wash more often
I love and only wear Lulu. Have accumulated a collection over time
I workout 5x a week but different activities (yoga, cycle, outdoor run). I probably have 5 outfits for each type. I like Lululemon and Nike.
Also, J.Crew bike shorts are really nice.
I love Lululemon but have been mixing in pieces from amazon that have been great
Colorfulkoala is my fave (on amazon). Lots of dupes for lulu
I just got these this weekend after a friend recommended! I’ve been impressed so far
Underarmour has really great and not-too-expensive activewear. I use their sports bras, leggings, and bike shorts often and they hold up great
I have two knee length bottoms, 2 full length bottoms and three shorts. 5 sports bras and 5 tops. I workout 5x a week and do laundry on the weekends.

How do you all save up for lulus 😭
Sale and outlet
I am a lululemon for hard! Love adding a new lulu item to my collection every other month! Their align leggings are so great for running and Orangetheory! I was super anti at first because of how expensive it is, but boy was I wrong! They’re worth it!!!
I’ve done inventory. ~100 pieces (including smaller items like socks, underwear etc). Prob spent $3k….I get most on sale
Die hard*
I do Barry’s (HITT/running) 5+ days a week plus other activities (sand volleyball) and honestly rotate through 5 pairs of Lululemon leggings and various Lululemon tops/bras (10-15 each). Despite doing laundry every week they’ve held up amazing for years - especially compared to Athleta which pilled. Have also done Old Navy in the past and honestly it was pretty good if you’re on more of a budget. Do sales and just add slowly over time (buying an item a month as the stock rotates).
Leggings and shorts- Lululemon. They have lasted years upon years for me. Cost per wear is likely lower than alternative, less durable brands. I have as many as I like- more than what I need for travel but not a predetermined or required amount.
Shirts- any brand- based on taste, value. Lululemon, Alo, zella, athleta, sweaty Betty. Again, quantity-wise I have as many as I like- not a predetermined amount.
Sports bras- have yet to find my holy grail brand/style. Lululemon’s sports bra quality has not been great for me. Under Armour is ok. Quantity- these I’d like to have at least 3-4 good quality sports bras for travel purposes so I don’t need to wash. Still on the hunt for “good quality”.
