I am new to Deloitte. My background is in agile transformation and product management within provider settings. I have found tech projects, but none within healthcare. Any advice for finding these?
Question for the group. I am an experienced individual currently searching to get out of private and into public. I am a CFE and Certified Technology Business Management Executive (CTBME) with an MBA and am scheduled to take AUD of CPA on May 13th. Am I barking up the wrong career tree to try to exchange an extensive and diverse career into what appears to be specialization within public? I really enjoy project work as the monthly grind has worn very, very thin. Opinions?

Any Scimitar 🐠 or folks familiar with Scimitar? A colleague at EY just accepted a role there and claims the total comp is 40% more than his total comp at EY and he was at the very top of the senior consultant pay band as an MBA hire. The folks on LinkedIn look like a bunch of former PwCers.

I’ve worked with my current employer fresh out of high school. They are a small family owned business with 1 dr. I’ve stayed with them for over 10yrs. I went from a receptionist, to a technician, to a health insurance specialist, and now doing billing. I’m 35 is it too late for me to get out and work for a bigger company?
Company offers a traditional 401k and a Roth, both with matching. Which one should I invest in? I’m 23.
Can someone helps explain the argument to divide your 401k contribution 50/50 between pre-tax/Roth? I’m 24 and imagine I’ll retire in a higher tax bracket therefore I should do all Roth contributions. Is there a flaw in my thinking?
Has anyone actually done the Cybervista CISSP prep class and passed the exam? I’m hearing some great things about their Sec+ course, but crickets (or onesie/twosie negative reviews).
I understand MBB comp packages in the USA include fully paid health insurance, automatic 401k contributions, salary, and bonus. What do packages in London / EMEA look like?

Any advice for someone with an “OK” undergrad academic record with a BA in Actuarial Science from CUNY Baruch with 1.5 YOE in Internal Audit and 1 YOE in Operational Risk getting into a top 10 MBA program next Fall (2023)?
OK= 3.0 GPA

Thinking to switch sector to Data science(AI and ML) because I don't think there's more growth in real estate sector as compares to Data science/AI & ML sector.
Is it advisable to do PGP(from where?)in Data science and switch sector? Would the recruiters choose me over IT guys?
As I'm in my early stage, I'm flexible to change.

Not a confessions - just some thoughts:
I don't use the word "ex" - I feel that all my past relationships are still part of me. They all added value to my life and hopefully, I did the same for them. Find memories remain no matter why our relationships end. I will always cherish the time spent with those beautiful wonderful ladies who allowed me in their lives. I have stayed in touch with most of them. None of the breakups were with any negativity -sometimes things are just not meant to be.

Looking to buy a townhome because it’s really the only “affordable” home to buy in the city I live in. The thing is I’ve known a few people to rent them and say they’re built extremely poorly and things break often. Is investing in a townhome a bad idea? Should I wait for an older house that’s in good shape?

Ridiculous offers from competing agencies
I'm in the Data and Analytics side of the house, but I know this is affecting everyone. Other agencies poaching analysts, managers, ADs, for what are 2 level up salary promotions. This cannot be sustainable (kids with 1 yr experience, pushing 100k+)
What is the future of agency salaries going to be? Are we really going to right size all our paychecks or is this a bubble that will lead to underqualified senior levels being the norm?
