My hands are shaking!! I just got off a call with my toxic manager who is clearly not happy I am being poached for another division. I tried to hold firm as he attempted to 20 question me, who was it, who wants me, what division, how did they find out about me? And of course the gaslighting of “why didn’t you come to me I could have helped or made introductions”. Clearly everything is about him. How have you handled such situations? What could I have done better with my abusive manager?

How many points would you put down per experience on your CV? Currently following a guideline of max 5 points - max 2 lines each (for positions held ~ 1 year). Have been told it'd be good to reduce this to 3 points but am afraid it makes my CV more empty and less impactful

McK 🐟 - How long does Mck take to declare results? I had 5 rounds of interviews for a PD role, last one being on 12th Nov. There is no communication yet. There is no recruiter in between and I dropped a mail to the hiring manager (director) asking her about the result. She gave positive feedback and said that she will respond after the Thanksgiving week. The entire week has passed and it's Tuesday of another week. No response yet. Is this common? I am losing hope. McK interviewers. Let’s say a first round candidate did 2 interviews, did well in both PEI and one case, but the other case was average.... any chance of progressing?

Have an offer from McKinsey. However, based on the start date I was given, I will have to forgo a substantial bonus at my current firm. Any chance that McKinsey will boost my signing bonus to account for this loss? Will they just ask me to push my start date? Or will they say take it or leave it? Offer is for BA level if that matters.

BCG pymetrics result is not accurate at all and very opposite to my MBTI result - pymetrics says I’m a risk taker, not experimental in learning, working equally hard on all tasks, and using my gut to make decisions. I don’t think I’m a consultant material based on pymetrics😅

In McKinsey final round interviews, do interviewers do PEI first then move to case or the other way out? Or is it random and depends on the interviewer?

How is the WLB in McKinsey? Is it completely unexciting?
I am in the middle of interviews and every email I get is after 10 pm or before 7 am.
