I think those are possible for beginners. At your stage, I would focus on just learning to ride. Keep in mind the weight of the bike and cc when buying. As a beginner, I preferred 500cc or less. Personally, I had a Kawasaki ninja 500r, which was 500cc and only about 350 or so pounds. I just sold it 2 months ago after owning it for 11 years.
Honda Shadows are tanks. If it’s a beginner bike I would def stick with something that can take a beating. Haven’t really tried Harley’s but from what I’ve read they can be a little more finicky.
Don’t get a Harley as they’re more trouble than their worth and you’ll prob outgrow the 883. You’re dead set on a cruiser style bike ?
Just for reference - first bike was fz07, then upgraded to a fz10 and now I’m with a thurxton rs
