For my T&E colleagues: do you refer to or consider an Executor to be the Executor of the decedent’s Will, or Executor of the estate?

I think it’s of the estate.

like

Testator and testatrix are who executed the will. Executors are generally personal representatives of the estate etc.

To clarify, my question is are they Executor “of the Will” or “of the Estate”? I’ve been saying “of the Estate” for nearly 3 years until a Partner corrected me, saying that it should be “of the Will”. Wondering if anyone else agrees.

Depends, from what I’ve seen- if they have a trust, and a pour over will, it generally says executor of the will

Hello all! I was reached out by Publicis Sapient for their Technology Strategy Consulting team and by Capco. Does anyone know what's the work life balance/pay at both of these firms? I am currently at EY under tech consulting making 90K a year in NYC with 1.5 YOE Staff 2 but I do feel I am feeling a bit burnt out at EY. I was wondering if I should wait until I hit Senior then start recruiting with the Senior title or just start recruiting now. Thanks!

Does anyone have any experience about the Nissan Leaf? Looking to get a basic electric car to do my local miles (about 10 k a year) and don’t need anything fancy in terms of speed, looks etc. specifically looking for reliability and range of 150-200 miles without breaking the bank and the leaf seems to be the least expensive car out there after accounting for federal rebates. Or are there better options? Will keep my ICE SUV for longer drives. Most charging will be don’t at home overnight.

Whoever said employers don’t care about grades and transcripts after your first job was a liar. Every lateral position that I’ve applied to as a 3rd year has requested transcripts. Why do we lie and tell grads that employers don’t check transcripts when they do. My coworker, a 5th yr, had to submit his transcripts also to lateral job. Side note - it speaks volume when multiple associates are trying to lateral at the same time
