My basic is around 10k a month for taxes and food and transport and utilities. Luxury and fun is another ten. Big expense in basic is property tax. Big expenditure in fun is travel. I think my basic budget is too high and I could bring it down and be very happy in a smaller home and less restaurants.

PSA: I had a horrible experience applying for a job at Devoted Health. Applied online and then got asked to schedule a phone interview. On the day of the interview, I waited 20 min and nothing happened. I emailed the HR rep, he didn’t acknowledge or apologize and just told me to reschedule so I did.
