For people that started recently, what is your utilization looking like? I joined in September and have 24% utilization. I have been staffed on 4 deals that all died within a week and it’s been pretty frustrating

I’m struggling. I left an agency I liked last year due to growth limitations and since then I’ve worked at 2 different agencies and can’t seem to find my footing. Pre-approved for a home but the rate lock expired and now we have to re apply. My husband lets me know his credit score dropped 111 points because of credit card utilization. Thoughts on “special” salary grades. I just found out the VP I was offered is not a grade 12 like most comparable roles (verified). Also not an 11, but an 11A. Slightly higher than an 11, a good bit lower than a 12. All due to the fact that it’s a leap from my current position. Why should that matter…..shouldn’t it pay what it should pay if I am selected, rather that curving down towards my current rate?

Making a switch from software engineer to product management.
I have been a one man show for most of my projects in years prior and have lead 2-3 engineers and 2 BAs on my recent projects.

is it worth it to shift to IB or MBB after 7 years in the big four(audit and fdd)? I do think IB and MBB are interesting fields that you can acquire unique skill sets and a good network. But I don’t think I couldn’t keep up already for a daily grind. The reason why I did not pursue it earlier in my career is that I am not from a target school and I do not have an MBA. lol thoughts?
