Retrieval one: age 34 1st (fresh) transfer failed 2nd (frozen) transfer success (One frozen embryo remains in storage)
Retrieval two: age 36 Did PGS testing 1st (frozen) transfer success (Two PGS tested frozen embryos remain in storage)
We chose to do a second retrieval as we had only one embryo left and I didn’t want to lose time if that one failed and having to do another retrieval later - being older.
We chose to do PGS on that second retrieval because I was older and we wanted to minimise risk of miscarriage/ chromosomal issues.
I took a fairly heavy course of supplements. By the time I did my second retrieval at 36 my fertility stats were much improved versus when I was 33-34. AMH FSH etc. So I believe in the power of supplements.
A question that wasn’t asked was the reason for IVF. In my case it was diminishing ovarian reserve and poor egg quality. But some people need IVF due to PCOS. Depending on root cause, people’s stats may be more or less relevant to your case.
My doc recommended Ubiquinol form of CoQ10 as it is the broken down version of CoQ10- for easier absorption @600 mg a day. Otherwise my list is similar to the posted list above. Not at retrieval time yet. 🤞
I’m 44. Got 3 embryos in 2 rounds. All tested normal. I decided to test because of my age and for better results. Note: I did freeze my eggs at age 38, 5 failed to blast. I’m going to transfer next month.
31 with DOR, 6 eggs, 4 mature, 3 made it to blastocyst, 1 failed transfer, 2nd was successful, no genetic testing because I figured with my condition I would take any egg I could get
Age 35 with PCOS 1 retrieval —> 56 eggs, sent 10 to PGS, 8 came back, still have 6 untested in storage 1 frozen transfer, 1 embryo = success! I tested because I wanted to give myself the best chance. I’m older and I have been trying for a very long time. Did 3 failed IUIs last year. Tried for about 5 years naturally with all sorts of testing and input. It’s all about decreasing that chance of miscarriage for me. My RE recommended it as well.
Two retrievals and ended up with 4 embryos. Did PGT testing to be cautious and found out that I’m the first in my family to carry a rare genetic disorder. Additional cost for testing but totally worth it.
I went through 2 iuis and 1 ivf cycle which failed to result in a pregnancy. No testing. Was just about to start ivf cycle 2 when we fell pregnant during priming. I was 33, now 34. I'm only 9 weeks but feeling blessed for every day. Miracles happen. I did discover after a mc that I had a blood clotting disorder and tested positive for 2 MTHFR mutation. My advice would be to get checked. We just didn't have enough embryos after ivf #1 for it to be worth it.
Am waiting on my transfer so can update that in a couple weeks.
I do not have a tube from a previous ectopic. Just turned 36 and did the retrieval a week before my bday. 21 were fertilized, had 11 embryos and 7 came out pgta tested euploids. Have 1 mosaic high. I dont know if there are any other underlying factors apart from my tube but doc has not diagnosed any. I can provide any other details that you may want.
Age 34 1 retrieval cycle 1 transfer with 1 embryo - success PGT-A yes. Because RE suggested it. He basically said the cost was a wash because if I didn’t do it and had a failed transfer I’d have to pay to transfer another embryo. Better to know up front if I’d have to do another cycle anyways.
Totally understand. Same age here. I had my first retrieval and did a fresh transfer (without testing), and did PGT-A for the rest of 3 viable embryos, they all came back "abnormal" and am feeling so defeated. Now I am worried about the fresh transfer embryo maybe "abnormal" in the uterus. 😢
Hi fishes, Does EY, track the employee laptop for GPS? I have left my base location due to some emergency and I have not told my manager that I am working remotely.

Hope this helps. Happy to answer questions.

I got you. Yeah, the clinic only transfer one. I wanted to do two! But they mention they won't do it! Wish I push harder.
